About Glenfield Millennium Green
Glenfield Millennium Green is a welcoming, peaceful space designed for relaxation, recreation, and community gatherings. Whether you’re meeting friends, playing games, staying active, or simply unwinding, the Green offers something for everyone.

Location and Access
Conveniently situated on the Glenfield side of the A46/A50 roundabout, just north of the Branting Hill area (signed as “The Brantings”), the Green has parking available opposite the main entrance.

A Space for All Ages
The Green is a safe haven for visitors of all ages. Take a leisurely stroll, watch the world go by, or let the kids explore the playground and willow tunnel. There’s a dedicated area for young children, and older kids and teens can enjoy the open space, outdoor exercise equipment, and a tarmac play area featuring a wall for football, basketball, and cricket.

Facilities and Features
The Green is dotted with benches and picnic tables, perfect for a break or a meal outdoors. The wheelchair-accessible sensory garden and tree dedication area, including the Marie Curie Field of Hope (a stunning display of 10,000 daffodils in spring), add a touch of beauty and meaning to the space. Native plants enhance biodiversity and support local wildlife, making it a vibrant ecological hub.

Community and Events
Throughout the year, the Green hosts a variety of community events. Monthly gardening sessions offer a chance to socialize while helping maintain this cherished space. The Trust is always eager to hear new ideas and welcomes volunteers to get involved.
